Air and Ground Staff
All of our Instructors and Jump Masters are licensed by USPA, and all have achieved the highest ratings awarded. We have collectively taught thousands of students safely, and have over 70 years of collective skydiving experience. A Certified Parachute Rigger maintains all of our equipment, and along with the pilots and mechanics, is fully licensed and certified by the FAA. Our ground staff of highly motivated skydivers, provide excellent customer service and are here to help make your skydiving experience unforgettable.
Facilities
Located at the Homestead General Airport, we use a large modern indoor facility with plenty of room for your friends to come and be a part of the "scene". We offer an indoor air-conditioned packing area, with Certified Parachute Riggers on staff.
Our airplane is a Cessna Caravan (15 place). Our pilots are highly experienced and oversee the regular maintenance of our aircraft by FAA certified mechanics.
We use only the most advanced "State of the Art" equipment available. Both the main and reserve parachutes are "Square", known both for their reliability and soft landings. Our equipment is routinely inspected in an ongoing effort to provide you with a new and well maintained inventory. On all of our student equipment, we have installed a new mini-computer "Automatic Opener" called CYPRES. It is designed to deploy the reserve parachute if the jumper fails to pull the ripcord.
Tandem Skydive
Making one jump, or many, you'll always remember your first. We specialize in first timers and it is also very special to the staff, to be able to share your first "RUSH" with you. The training for your first Jump will take about a half-hour, depending on how many questions you have. Some people just want a one-time adrenaline rush, and others want to learn. We'll take all the time needed to train you, and to answer all of your questions. Tandem jumping allows you to enjoy all of the thrill and excitement of freefalling on your very first jump! The Tandem Master will be your silent partner, letting you have full control; or you can just lay back and enjoy the ride. Since we're weightless in free fall, you won't even notice that the Tandem Master is there.
Jumping from up to 13,500' AGL(above ground level), we'll free fall at 120 mph - 180 mph & up to 60 seconds. While we "Body Surf" the wind, we can do controlled turns, speed diving, and burn up the sky. Then, with a quick pull of the ripcord, we'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful 5 - 7 minute parachute training flight. You'll learn equipment safety, free fall body position, canopy control and landing patterns, all with your Tandem Master acting as your flight instructor. We can also send you home with a DVD of your digital photos and a high quality music video of your skydive, from one of our professional free fall photographers.
